DISTRIBUTION OF KASARABADA SCHOLARSHIPS

The Department of Physics and Electronics, P.R. Government College(A) distributed the KASARABADA merit scholarships for the academic year, 2022-23  on 16th February 2023. An amount of ₹68500/- was disbursed to the toppers of Physics and Sanskrit for 3 years degree studying students, toppers of MSc Physics previous and final year students and also selective two projects from computer science, two projects from electronics  were appreciated with prize money.
The merit scholarship of Sanskrit was given in the name of Shri Bhashyam Apalacharyulu garu, retired Lecturer in Sanskrit PRGC(A).
All the cash prizes were sponsored by Prof. Chalapathi Rao Kasarabada(USA), Chairman, Athato foundation, Bengaluru. An amount of ₹ 40500/- distributed to 
the toppers of Physics as well as Sanskrit from 1st, 2 nd &3rd year U.G. Each of the 6 students was given the merit scholarship with an amount of ₹6750/-@ ₹750/-  for 9 months.
Two students from 1st year and final year M.SC.,Physics, were given the merits scholarship with an amount of ₹18000/- @ ₹1000/- for 9 months.
4 best science projects in Electronics and Computer Science were selected for prize money of an amount of ₹10,000/- @ ₹2500/- each.
Dr. B.V.Tirupanyam, The Principal, president of the event and Dr.B.Elia,Coordinator, IQAC appreciated Sri UVBB Krishna Prasad, Lecturer In Charge, Department of Physics and Electronics, and his team for their continuous efforts towards the sustainable development of the students.
