Guest lecture on “How Aryabhata found the shape of the Earth – An introduction to Scientific temper”.

Dr. T. Venkateswaran, Vignan Prasar, New Delhi has been the chief guest for the Program conducted on 17.05.2020

The program was started with Prayer song. Principal Dr. Krishna Preside over the program. In his presidential address he stated that ancient Indian scientists contributed the immense knowledge to the world. Especially in the braches of Physics, Astronomy and Mathematics they propound a huge number of theories.

Convener of the Program, Dr. K. Jyothi told that the Indian scientists didn’t get the place they deserve as the western world ruled over most of the world for a long time, which empowered them to claim superiority in every way, including in the field of science.

Sri. U V B B Krishna Prasad gave a nice introduction about the Speaker.

The Guest Speaker Dr. T. Venkateswaran delivered a beautiful lecture about the theme concept. His Presentation over the topic admired all the students and faculty. He deliberately explain how Aryabhata found the shape of the earth without using telescope in ancient days. He also explain the importance of science & technology.

During interaction session, our students posed many questions. Speaker has answered those questions so patiently.

One of our student has proposed vote of thanks and the program was ended with National anthem.
