PROGRAMME OFFICER
DAY TWO ACTIVITIES STARTING FROM CLEAN & GREEN (05/02/2019)
On the day two, After Prabhath Meri and breakfast, all volunteers participated in the morning meeting. All voluteers started Cleaning and Greening in the college premises, with all utentials the particular part of the area in the college assignd by college principal Dr. C. Krishna. All volunteers participated activitely up to lunch break. After lunch, one-hour rest period was given to the volunteers. In the afternoon session, we
invited Head Department of English, Vice Principal Dr. T.K. V. Srinivas to create awareness among volunteers regarding ecology and eco friendly products. The program ended with the clarification of doubts raised by the volunteers. The day ended with the cultural activities and physical exercises of the students.
DAY – 3 (06/02/2019)
On the day third, after Prabhath Meri and Breakfast, all Volunteers gathered and shared their views. All students sit in the ground as words of NOT ME BUT YOU. This is a collective program to create awareness on motto of the NSS. After breakfast, volunteers started Removing of bushes at Front side of the Commerce Block and around the Cycle Shed. They participated in cleaning of Cycle Shed up side and down. Total wastage was collected and fired at various places, and cleaned entire internal roads and public places at college. Lunch break and rest hour was observed between 12.30pm to 2.00pm. On this day psychologist Mr. P. Subbaraju garu attended and ignited volunteers on various aspects. He felt very happy being part of college NSS units again. That day was end with games and sports of all volunteers.
DAY – 4 (07/02/2019)
On the day fourth after Prabhath Meri and Breakfast Volunteers gathered and shared their views. NSS song in hindi language was played in mobile phone to ignite all volunteers. The day started with cleaning of water tanks in the college. Girl volunteers cleaned all CC roads with bloom sticks. Later then cleared the drainages in the college particularly at water points. The process of cleaning started from the Entrance Gate to Administrative Block of the college. After the lunch break, famous children specialist Dr. M.V. RAMANA MURTHY, Kakinada attended and
trained students in Golden Rush Hour concept as well as first aid service to patients in need. All volunteers participated and clarified their doubts.
DAY – 5 (08/02/2019)
On the day fifth, in Prabhat Meri NSS song was played and completed breakfast student volunteers observed NATIONAL PHILERIA DAY, on 8th February, all NSS Volunteers were participated in distribution of medicines to entire Kakinada in the areas allocated by DMHO office Kakinada. Total 50 volunteers were sub divided into 10 members group and participated in drug distribution. Students also interacted with citizens and collected data regarding their economic and social profiles. Volunteers expressed their views that they learned much during this interaction with citizens. They also conducted data from all people. All students actively interacted and enjoyed the drug distribution and creation of awareness among MOSQUITOS. That day ended with sports and games
DAY – 6 (09/02/2019)
On the day 6th usually this day also started with prabhath meri and breakfast. After that all students were assigned to clean the left side part of the Main gate to cut all bushes by which all walkers and Hostel students have a threat of snacks and darkness during done and dusk. Asusal Our principal Dr. C. Krishna visited the spot and encouraged the volunteers and appreciated their efforts. All volunteers were given a targeted area to clean from main gate to back gate of the college. Second half of the day On Communication Skills Dr. Valaval Srinivasarao, Lecturer in English GDC, Ramachandra puram nurtured communication skills. The ended with cultural activities and sports
DAY – 7 (10/02/2019)
On the day of seven we started with prabhath meri and breakfast. A Valedictory function was conducted in the morning session, due to availability of Chief Guest. After noon students
conducted Green Audit in the college Campus. For Valdictory we invited our principal Dr. C. Krishna and Sri Karri Bhami Reddy, PRGC COSA President as Chief Guest. On the stage four program officers of this college also occupied their positions. The chief guest praised the volunteer services of students and Program officers. I, Dr. J. Pandu Rangarao submitted the weekly report to the delegates on the Dais. Our college Pricipal Dr. C. Krishna Precide over the meeting. Many student volunteers had given positive feedback to the delegates regarding the one week Special Camp. They also extended their heartful thanks to University officials, College Principal, DPO, Programme Officer for providing such a good opportunity to them. After having good speeches, We arranged Cultural Activities followed up to evening and dispersed at 5.00 pm.
We are very thankful to Dr. Prof. A.V. PRASADA RAO, , Vice Chanceller, Dr. B. KEZIA RANI, , NSS co-ordinator ADNIKAVI NANNAYA UNIVERSITY, for their kind support. We are also thankful to District Programme Officer East Godavari District Dr. B.H.V.V.S.N. Murthy Garu, Ex- DPO Dr. P. V. KRISHNA RAO GARU. We are also thankgul to our principal Dr. C. KRISHNA and other faculty members who provided us direct and inderect help for the successful completion of the camp.
