Department of Philosophy

GOOD MORNING,
              Welcome you to the department of philosophy. The department of philosophy is very old and produced many great personalities; one among them was late sri G.M.C.Balayogi,
Lok sabha speaker. When this college was upgraded as 1st grade college affiliated to Andhra University in 1926. The subject philosophy under partII was introduced at U.G level in this College during 1936 with the following combinations.

1) History, Economics, philosophy, (H.E.PHIL.)TM
Now we have only one combination i.e. H.E.Phil   Which is very useful to the students to write the competitive exams and for the educational Service and also to the character building. In the year 1952, this college was taken over by the Govt.later the Govt.sanctioned a  lecturer post in philosophy vide G.O.M.S. No.3163 End?  DT: 2-12-1958.
